The invention relates to agriculture, in particular to chemical agents that regulate the growth of crops.
The purpose of the invention is to increase the retardant activity of the known retardant chlorcholine chloride, which inhibits unwanted vegetative growth without destroying plants, and is used to combat the lodging of grain crops.
As a means of enhancing the retardant activity of chlorocholine chloride, known compounds possessing growth-regulating activity, of formula I, are used.

The structure of the compounds of formula I used according to the proposed method are presented in table. one.
In open soil, the effect of the proposed combinations of substances on various types of grain on small plots of land was studied. The proposed means were applied according to the post-emergence method (the end of tillering, the beginning of growth) at various stages of plant development with a water consumption of 400 l / ha per 10 meter test plot. Each experiment was repeated four times. Plants were evaluated 14 days after administration of the composition.

The results presented in table. 2, confirm the excellent synergistic effects of the proposed combinations. The observed action (shortening of the stem) is much stronger than one would expect from the individual actions of the components.
The effectiveness of the proposed compounds on grain crops is shown in Table 3.
